Mnet recently announced that “Queendom 2” will premiere on Mar. 31 at 9:20 PM KST for ten weeks. It will be hosted by Girls’ Generation’s TaeYeon. The first season had Park Bom, AOA, MAMAMOO, Lovelyz, OH MY GIRL, and (G)I-DLE as contestants. Which has made fans curious who would be in the lineup for the second season. So, we’ve compiled a list of groups that we would like to see on “Queendom 2”. Be sure to vote for who you hope to see on the show at the end of this article and leave comments of any other groups that you think should be on the show! Note: This list is in no particular order. This article is just for fun and to gather readers’ opinions. One soloist has been included in this list as there was a soloist in the first season of “Queendom”.
1. fromis_9
fromis_9 are known for their overall charm as members individually and as a holistic group. Their concepts are cute, sometimes quirky, and their catchy songs have you falling into their music. They are a group that would gain a lot from appearing on a show like “Queendom 2”.
2. ITZY
As one of the ‘it’ girl groups from the 4th generation of K-Pop, ITZY could bring their custom flair to their performances and show a new side to themselves as artists. The members have always said that they want to discover their style as artists and “Queendom 2” could be the perfect chance to experiment and do so.
3. Weki Meki
Weki Meki is one of the groups that we would love to see gain even more recognition on the show. They are incredibly talented and their discography is full of bops. Not to mention that their visuals are exceptional. This show could also be a way for them to showcase their skills in a way like never before.
4. Brave Girls
Brave Girls is famous for their reverse trending on music charts. Many fans learned more about them by rediscovering their hits. Keeping the same energy, “Queendom 2” would be a great opportunity for them to show off their skills and talents as artists to a new audience.
5. VIVIZ
It will only be a couple of months into their debut if VIVIZ joins “Queendom 2”, however, the members are not rookies to the industry. It would be the perfect opportunity for them to showcase their new identity as a group and show their years of performance experience and talent in a new way.
6. Kep1er
Kep1er is also a rookie group that would be interesting to watch on “Queendom 2”. They are hot these days and it would be interesting to see them take on a challenge as they cement themselves as multi-talented idols in the industry.
7. Dreamcatcher
Dreamcatcher is one of the K-Pop girl groups that pays special attention to giving a detailed performance. It would be interesting to see them show off their talent as they come up with creative performances for each mission.
8. EVERGLOW
EVERGLOW is known for their challenging choreography, overall visual power, excellent vocal and rap, and more. Seeing such an all-rounder group perform every week will be exciting for existing fans and also help them gain even more fans.
9. Jo YuRi
Jo YuRi is known for her artistic range and powerful vocals. “Queendom 2” would be an opportunity for her to display her versatility and ability to pull off different concepts and fill the stage with her presence.
10. LOONA
LOONA is known for their performance power and synchronization when dancing. Appearing on “Queendom 2” would help them gain recognition for their killer performances. They are also good at mysterious but elegant concepts which would be interesting to see highlighted on the show. It would be amazing to see any of these groups on the show so that they can get more recognition over and above the popularity that they already have.
